Wolf and Boy: Gallery
Although it may appear complex due to refraction in the transparent acrylic cube, the object shown above consists of only two equilateral triangular sheets of paper placed inside the cube as illustrated on the left.
This too is an Imaginary Cube — it appears as a square when viewed from all six face directions of the cube.
The two sheets feature a drawing of a wolf and a boy, respectively.
In the left photo, the reflection of a chameleon drawn on the back side can also be seen.
When viewed from one direction, it appears as if the boy is aiming at the wolf. From another direction, it looks like the wolf is attacking the boy. From a third angle, a forest appears between them, hiding them from each other’s sight.
Since the photos do not clearly show the effect, here are illustrations to explain it.
